OKELLO KASERA PATRICK

Patrick is a highly motivated lawyer with experience in Rwandan, Ugandan, and Kenyan laws, having had the opportunity to study and work in these jurisdictions in both Non-governmental organizations and Corporate and Commercial Practice Law Firms. He has over 5 years of experience covering several areas such as corporate and commercial law involving due diligence exercises, drafting and reviewing of contracts, and drafting Legal opinions on various legal issues and inquiries including but not limited to e-transactions, debt funds, data privacy, and general information and Communications technology, regulatory compliance based on the company law and the law governing NGOs and INGOs and employment law, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and Cross-border Transactions. He also has extensive experience in providing rapporteur services for all types of events and training, drafting Legal briefs and documents, report writing, and facilitating public forum training. He is currently a member of the Senior Roll of the Rwanda Bar Association and the East Africa Law Society.
